About Us:

Established in 2018, Lincoln Liberty Lacrosse Club is a 501c3 organization. Lincoln Liberty Lacrosse Club is Lincoln, Nebraska’s first Girls High School age Lacrosse Team. Lincoln Liberty is a member of the Midwest Girls Lacrosse League of Nebraska and Iowa. We compete against other teams within the League from the greater Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA area.

Our program is not funded by any Lincoln schools; it is supported by the families and players. We would like to team up with local businesses to provide sponsorship funds to help offset the costs of running the program. Lincoln Liberty Sponsors will help keep costs affordable for all families and girls who want to participate.

Every year the Lincoln Liberty Girls Lacrosse program funds equipment purchases (nets, goals, balls), team transportation, and field maintenance, to name a few. Our program competes against other teams from the greater Omaha, NE, and Des Moines, IA, as a member of the Midwest Girls Lacrosse League of Nebraska and Iowa.

Lincoln Liberty believes that lacrosse is a sport for every girl who wants to play. We want your company to be a part of the Lincoln Liberty Team. We cannot do this alone, and your support will help the Team grow and succeed for years to come. As a club sport in Lincoln, our budget relies on the generosity of our sponsors and player contributions.

Your support ensures that every team member will have an opportunity to compete. Since the beginning of the club, we have made the game available to all interested girls (no tryouts or cuts) and never want a family’s financial situation to be a deciding factor for participation. We strive to keep the game cost effective for families and would like to be able to offer Scholarships to cover player fees. We would also like to make extra equipment that can be borrowed or rented if a player is unable to procure their own.

Why are Team Sports important?

Involvement in team sports helps promote character and discipline. As a member of a team, players learn to work together and develop behavior for good sportsmanship. These qualities are essential in being a successful member of the community. *Sports participation can help kids improve their physical health, social skills, and self-esteem.

As the only girls high school lacrosse team in Lincoln, we bring girls together from every school to grow a community of girls from all over Lincoln and the surrounding area.
